The UFO (Unidentified Furniture Object) rocking chair, is a futuristic lounge rocking chair, inspired by the generic form of flying saucers as seen in most classic sci-fi movies.
Its the innovative creation of Italian design company IT ONEOFF, and also the first and only “one ground point” swinging and rocking chair in the world.
A rocking lounge chair, it sports a unique design that touches just a single point on the ground. A stabilizing mass fulcrum on that single contact point allows it to not just rock back and forth like regular rocking chairs, but also spin, pivot, and swivel side to side, making for a great chair to change up your lounging experience, apart from being a veritable playground toy.
"We are convinced that this chair is not just a normal piece of design," said creator Marco Travaini. "It will be the element that will open a new seating concept."
